Supreme Court on Dowry: आईपीसी की धारा 498 A (IPC Section 498A) दहेज से (Dowry) जुडी धारा है. जाहिर दहेज मांगे (Demand of Dowry) जाने की शिकायत पर इसके तहत केस दर्ज होता है. लेकिन अगर आपने दहेज नहीं भी लिया है. तब भी आपपर दहेज की मांग वाला केस यानी 498A लग सकता है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट (Supreme Court) ने इस मामले में साफ जाहिर कर दिया है कि किस परिस्थिति में बिना दहेज लिए शादी (Mirriage without Dowry) करने वालों पर भी 498A की धारा लग सकती है और वो जेल की सलाखों के पीछे जा सकते हैं.
